Counted twice, photographed, and every serial recorded on the transfer note.

You get the transfer note before the truck leaves your gate.
What we need to know before we roll
- Dock height, or no dock at all — both are fine, they need different trucks.
- Gate and door width, and whether a 53-foot trailer can actually turn in.
- Whether there is a forklift on site and someone certified to drive it.
- Whether we are on a residential street at 6 AM, because that changes the plan.
- Whether the totes are drained, and what the heels are.
Five minutes on this saves an aborted collection, which is the single most expensive thing that happens in this business.
Small lots
The free-collection threshold is eight units. Below that we can usually consolidate you with a neighbouring pickup — Manhattan lots in particular get batched, because a single tote in Midtown is an hour of someone's day. Or drop them at the Astoria yard yourself during opening hours.
Interstate
Northern New Jersey runs are covered by our own DOT authority. Anything beyond the seventy-five-mile radius we will quote honestly or refer you to someone closer — a long empty backhaul is bad economics and worse carbon.

What do you need to know before booking a collection?

Is there a minimum for a free collection?
Eight units. Below that we can usually consolidate you with a neighbouring pickup — Manhattan lots in particular get batched — or you can drop them at the yard.
How far do you travel?

How soon can you collect?
Same week for anything inside the five boroughs. The outer counties consolidate into full loads, so allow two to four days there.
What if a 53-foot trailer cannot reach my site?
We bring a box truck instead. Tight industrial side streets are routine for us — tell us in advance and we send the right vehicle the first time.
