Astoria, Queens — a few minutes from the Grand Central Parkway and the Triborough. Ask for the yard office. Visitors are welcome during opening hours and encouraged on orders over twenty units.

Attach photographs directly — plate, interior, valve and the pile. It is the fastest route to a firm number.
Why there is no phone number
Because a yard is loud, a driver is driving, and a price agreed on a call is a price nobody can produce later. Everything we quote — grades, unit prices, serial lists, collection windows, test records — goes out in writing. It is slower on the first exchange and considerably faster on every one after it.
Getting a fast answer
Tell us these five things and we can usually quote in one reply:
- Buying or selling
- How many, and at how many addresses
- What was in them (or what is going in them)
- Whether anything needs a current UN mark
- Your dock situation — height, gate width, forklift or not

Finding us

Between the Grand Central Parkway and the waterfront, in the industrial block north of Astoria Boulevard.
By car
Off the Grand Central Parkway or the BQE. There is space to turn a 53-foot trailer in the yard, and room to park a pickup by the office. Come in the 45th Street entrance.
By subway
N and W to Astoria Ditmars Boulevard, then about a fifteen-minute walk west. The Q69 and Q100 buses also run nearby.
Delivering to us
Email pickups@ibctoterecyclingny.com before you set off so we can clear a bay. Bring the prior-contents declaration — we cannot take undeclared containers off a truck.
How quickly will you reply?
One business day, in writing, to every enquiry. The form on this page, the floating button on any page and plain email all land in the same inbox, so there is no advantage to using more than one.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM. The yard runs six days a week, so a Saturday morning visit is a perfectly normal way to inspect stock.
Where exactly is the yard?
19-22 45th St, Astoria, NY 11105. It is a working yard on 45th Street rather than a showroom, so email us before you set off and we will clear a bay for you.
What should I include in a first message?
Quantity, rough condition, and four photographs if you are selling: the UN plate, the interior through the lid, the valve and the pile. If you are buying, tell us what is going in the container and how it travels.
Can I just turn up with totes on a truck?
Email pickups@ibctoterecyclingny.com first so we can clear a bay, and bring the prior-contents declaration. We cannot take undeclared containers off a truck, which makes an unannounced delivery a wasted journey.
